Arkaba Dental has three experienced dentists, an oral health therapist who manages our hygiene department, as well as being able to perform general dentistry on children and then there is our kind and compassionate support staff. At Arkaba Dental we all work together to make your experience with us as relaxed and as comfortable as possible.

Dr Con Balasis- Principal dentist

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)- The University of Adelaide

Dr Balasis graduated in 1988 from the University of Adelaide. Following his graduation he has had a period of performing the role of a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide and has worked at various dental practices in Adelaide. He has been the principal dentist at Arkaba Dental since 1991.

Dr Balasis regularly attends dental seminars and conferences so that he is able to keep up with the latest dental developments. As a result of this he is able to offer you the most up to date treatment options. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association (SA Branch).

Sally Jeffries, Oral Health Therapist/Dental hygienist

Bachelor of Oral Health (BOH), The University of Adelaide

Sally graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2013. As an Oral Health Therapist she has specialised training in preventive, educational, and therapeutic techniques that cover all aspects of dental hygiene and dental therapy, treating both child and adult patients to help them achieve and maintain optimum oral health throughout life. Sally has a strong belief in minimal intervention and preventive dentistry, and has a passion for Professional Tooth Whitening procedures.

In her spare time Sally enjoys travelling, spending time with friends and finding the best places to eat around town.
